Receive Initial Application Approval from the Local Utility Company
When the initial application meets the utility company’s approval requirements, an “Approval to Install” notification is issued to us giving the okay to proceed with the next steps in the process. This initial notification from the utility company serves to:
- Confirm that the utility co. has received our application.
- Confirm that the utility co. has not found any deficiencies with the application.
- Notification that the application has been preliminarily approved for interconnection to the grid.
This “Approval to Install” is a preliminary approval is to ensure the utility company has no issues with the final design and allows us to proceed with the next steps.
