Submit Part2 Application to the Local Utility Company
After all work is complete and all necessary inspections have passed, Green Way Solar will submit a Part 2 Interconnection Application to your local utility company as required by the PA Public Utility Commission rules. The utility company will verify that we received the required approvals for the building and electric inspections and schedule the installation of a Net Meter at your home or place of business.
Installation of Net Meter by the Local Utility Company
The utility company will visit your home or place of business and replace your existing meter and install a net meter.
Receive Permission to Operate by the Local Utility Company
The utility company will send the owner of the system a “Permission to Operate” or “Approval to Operate” notification and the system can then be activated and be put into production.
